CATEGORIE AMMESSE:
Nella maggior parte dei casi il modellista può iscrivere i propri lavori nelle categorie Master o Standard, a seconda di quale ritiene sia il proprio livello; tale scelta è ad esclusiva discrezione del modellista stesso, ed è stata concepita sia per consentire al partecipante di “battersi ad armi pari” con amici modellisti del suo stesso livello, sia per poter mettere alla prova se stessi competendo in una categoria superiore per esperienza e completezza delle realizzazioni. Ovviamente i criteri di giudizio sono differenziati attentamente a seconda della categoria scelta in sede d’iscrizione. Intendiamo come: Master, chi padroneggia le tecniche più avanzate ed ha un livello di realizzazione all’altezza dei migliori esempi apprezzabili ai concorsi nazionali ed internazionali, e sulle riviste di settore; Standard, chi non abbia tali risultati ma produca comunque lavori di buon livello per accuratezza storico-modellistica e resa globale. Nello spirito di ottenere un confronto stimolante ed equilibrato, invitiamo gli amici partecipanti a scegliere con cura la categoria nella quale vogliono iscrivere i propri lavori; la scelta riguarda ogni singolo modello, e non il modellista, che quindi potrà presentare vari lavori in categorie diverse, a sua discrezione. ISCRIZIONE:
• La partecipazione è aperta a tutti i modellisti, sia a livello individuale che organizzati in Clubs. • La quota partecipativa è fissata, a parziale copertura delle spese di allestimento e premiazione, in € 10,00 a concorrente, indipendentemente dal numero di modelli presentati. • Sarà possibile partecipare alla mostra senza concorrere, senza limitazione del numero di modelli presentati, versando € 10,00 sempre a titolo di parziale copertura delle spese. • Le categorie s’intendono costituite da un minimo di n° 4 concorrenti; se non verrà raggiunto tale numero si provvederà, a discrezione della giuria, ad accorpare i modelli alla categoria più attinente. CONSEGNA MODELLI:
• La consegna dei modelli dovrà avvenire presso la sede del Centro Documentale Esercito Italiano, in via Spalto S. Marco n° 41, nei giorni Sabato 16 e Domenica 17 Ottobre, dalle ore 10.00 alle ore 12.30 e dalle ore 15.00 alle ore 18.00. • Sarà eccezionalmente possibile effettuare la consegna fino a Venerdì 22 Ottobre previo accordo (si prega di utilizzare l'indirizzo e-mail info@ambbrescia.com) • Ogni modello dovrà essere obbligatoriamente consegnato in scatola chiusa e rigida e corredato da cartellino con indicati soggetto, autore ed eventuale associazione di appartenenza. • I concorrenti potranno allegare documentazione sul lavoro svolto, che verrà utilizzata in sede di giudizio e successivamente riconsegnata insieme al modello all’atto del ritiro. • L’A.M.B. organizza un servizio navetta per Brescia dal negozio di modellismo HOBBYLANDIA di Milano (16 Ottobre) e dai concorsi di Imola (3 ottobre) e di Varedo (10 Ottobre). N.B.: in ogni caso, per la fruizione delle navette è gradita la previa richiesta di partecipazione alle stesse via e-mail : info@ambbrescia.com VALUTAZIONE:
• I modelli saranno valutati da una giuria di modellisti dell’A.M.B., il cui giudizio sarà insindacabile ed inappellabile. • La premiazione avverrà alle ore 16.00 circa di Domenica 26 Ottobre; i premi saranno assegnati secondo la formula OPEN, nei livelli di merito Oro, Argento e Bronzo, con criterio differenziato per le categorie Master e Standard. • Sono previsti dei premi speciali di particolare prestigio: il Premio "Italia in Armi", per i migliori modelli aventi soggetto italiano, d’ogni epoca e tipo, nelle tre distinzioni: mezzo militare, aeroplano e figurino; il Premio Airfix, il Premio Tamiya, ed il Premio Italian Kits. • Infine, 6 preziose monete d’epoca autentiche offerte dal Centro Stampa di Franzoni in Brescia, da assegnarsi ai migliori figurini di 6 diversi periodi: Antico - Medievale - 1600/1700 - Napoleonico - 1800 - Moderno. • N.B.: la valutazione e la premiazione dei modelli navali, ovvero delle categorie N1 ed N2, saranno curata dagli amici del club Il Sestante - Itinerari nella Storia, di Palazzolo sull’Oglio (BS). • Verranno inoltre assegnati a discrezione della giuria dei premi speciali consistenti in trofei e prodotti modellistici, gentilmente offerti dagli Sponsors della manifestazione, come menzionati sul retro del presente pieghevole. INIZIATIVE SPECIALI:
Verranno esposti fuori concorso display di alcuni dei più validi modellisti italiani, a riconoscimento del livello qualitativo dimostrato nel tempo. All’interno della mostra saranno presenti vari stands commerciali modellistici a cura di alcune tra le più note ditte del settore, per offrire al pubblico ed agli amici modellisti uno spunto d’interesse in più. COME ARRIVARE

La via più comoda per arrivare al Centro Documentale Esercito
Italiano è uscire dall’autostrada A4 Milano-Venezia a
Brescia Centro, e seguire le indicazioni per la direzione Centro
Città; ulteriori utili riferimenti possono essere il Museo di
Santa Giulia, museo cittadino noto anche oltre i confini locali, ed il
Piazzale Arnaldo da Brescia, vicinissimi alla sede della mostra ed in
pieno centro storico. Il Centro Documentale Esercito Italiano, che ospita la mostra, è anche noto in città per esser stato la sede del Distretto Militare di Brescia, e la porta carraia d’accesso è situata su via Spalto San Marco, proprio di fronte all’ingresso delle Carceri cittadine. • Per chi necessitasse di pernottare a Brescia rendiamo noto che i due hotels più vicini alla sede della mostra sono il Motor Hotel “Ai Ronchi”, in viale Bornata 22 (4 stelle, tel. 030 362061 - fax 030 3366315 - www.motorhotel.it), e l’Hotel “Capri”, in viale S. CATEGORIES:
In most cases the modeller can enrol his works in the master or standard category, according to which one he considers at his own level. It was planned in such way to enable the partecipants to compete at the same conditions with modellers of the same level and, sometimes, even to be able to put themselves to a severe test by “fighting” with friends belonging to highest and strongest categories. Obviously the criteria of the judgements are carefully drawn up according to the selection wich was made at the moment of the inscription. As “Masters” we mean those who can use and control the most advanced building and painting tecniquesand whose level is up to the best in national and international modellers. As “Standard” we means those who – even if they do not reach top results – realize very good levels of global modelling performance. As we hope to obtain a beautiful and exciting show we ask you to select very carefully in wich category they want their kit run. The choiche will concerne every single model and not the modeller who, therefore, will be allowed to produce several works of different categories, at his onw will. ADMISSION
The admission is open to all modellers. The partecipation fee is fixed an 10,00 Euros as a partial balance of all the expenses and apart from the number of models produced. It will be possible to take part in the exhibition even without any aim of competition and without any limit to the number of works produced and only by paying 10,00 Euros in partial balance of all the expenses. The categories must be formed by a minimum of four competitors. If that number is not reached the jury will dispose the selection of the competitors in others categories. DELIVERY OF THE MODELS
Each model must be presented with a card containing the name of the owner and eventually the modelling club. For those coming from abroad the delivery of the models can be made c/o the seat of the show: via spalti San Marco 41 on friday october 16th or on saturday october 17th, or, at last, saturday october 23rd, until 12am, presenting the enrolement card. The models will be valued by the A.M.B. jury, whose judgment will be inappellable and undjectionable. The awarding of the prizes will take place on sunday october 24th. The prizes will be awarded according to the open formula of gold, silever and bronze merit level and with different criteria for the master and standard categories. Special prizes are also expected: “Italy in Arms Premium” for the best models with an italian subject of all ages and types: military, aircreft and figures; the Airfix Premium, the Tamiya Premium and the Italian kits premium. And finally six precious antique coins, offered by the “Franzoni Centro Stampa” in Brescia, to be given to the best figure of six different periods: Ancient, Medioeval, 1600-1700, Napoleonic, 1800 and Modern. N.B. our friends of “the Sestante Club – Itinerari nella storia” from Palazzolo Sull’Oglio will see to the evaluation and awarding prizes for the naval models (N1 & N2 categories). Special awards will also be given according to the opipnion of the jury. The prizes consst of trophy model products kindly offered by the sponsors of the manifestation. SPECIAL INITIATIVES
Out of the competition, will be on display works of the most famous Italian modellers Some of the best known model commercial firms will be present inside the fair in order to make the stay more interesting. HOW TO REACH THE SHOW
The easiest and quickest way to reach the seat of the contest is to leave the Milano Venezia motor-road at “Brescia Centro” and then follow the directiond to th “Centro Città”. Further and useful indications may be the seat of the “Santa Giulia Museum”, very well known also abroad, and “Piazza Arnaldo da Brescia” quite colose to the seat of the exhibition, right in the middle of Brescia’s “historical centre”. The “Documental Centre of the Italian Army” – where the contest is – is very well known in town, as it was the seat of “Brescia Recruiting Office”, adn the entrance carriage-way opens right in front of “Canton Mombello” (the town prisons).
